Printed Acquisitions, 2006-2007
This list is created by the department using raw data supplied from the online catalog. Unfortunately, it is not possible to get copy-specific data, although many of these items were acquired because of an inscription or other association. For most, more complete descriptions can be found in HOLLIS by searching “Other call number” for Houghton-classed or accessioned-only material, or “Call number” for LC-classed material. The last element in each entry is its call number or, if uncataloged, its accession number.
The following list is roughly divided by language/culture, with translations listed under the heading of the author’s original language. Several large acquisitions have been described as a group—e.g. Molot imprints, Andrée Chedid—pending full cataloging. It does not include contemporary reference books.
