How to Use Ask a Librarian
Ask a Librarian is an email reference service provided by HCL librarians. Here are some examples of how to use Ask a Librarian:
- ask for help in locating facts, addresses, statistics, interpreting bibliographies, and bibliographic citations, etc.
- get suggestions about how to research a specific topic or locate particular kinds of information
- ask questions about the library's collections, resources, services, and facilities—and how to get help using them, for example, the Harvard Depository (HD)
- make suggestions and comment on library resources and services
