Art Libraries Network—Florence/Munich/Rome
The Union Catalogue of the three German research institutes was initiated by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG). Amongst its special features are coverage of articles in periodicals etc., and subject indexing for all titles entered since 1996. The database is increasing with the retrospective conversion of member library card catalogs. 

British Library Manuscripts Catalogue
Online catalog of British Library manuscript collections without images.  May be searched by keywords of manuscript number. Contains all types of handwritten material in Western languages; documents ranging in date from the pre-Christian era to the present day; manuscript acquisitions of the British Museum and British Library from 1753 onwards. Karlsruher Virtueller Katalog (KVK)
Provides the ability to search simultaneously across multiple European University library catalogs using an English language interface.

The Networkof Libraries and Information Centers in Switzerland (NEBIS)
The Network of Libraries and Information Centers in Switzerland comprises the catalogs of over 80 university, technical college, and research institute libraries from all language regions. The NEBIS catalog contains approximately 3 million titles, including books, serials, journals and non-book materials. Many documents may be ordered online.

Virtueller Katalog Kunstgeschichte (VKK)
Provides the ability to search simultaneously across 22 international art library catalogs using an English language interface. Participants include the Getty Research Library and the National Art Library of the Victoria & Albert Museum.

WorldCat
WorldCat is a union (i.e. collective) catalog of records of any type of material (books, periodicals, scores, films, recordings, etc.) cataloged by over 41,000 OCLC (Online Computer Library Center) member libraries in the United States and in 82 other nations. There are more than 47 million records in the WorldCat database.
